Testled have an expert in-house development team, and access to a hand-picked pool of talented freelancers. On the web, we use the rapid prototyping and development features of Django to help you deliver high quality software quickly, and we bring the same expertise to mobile development. If you have an existing project which needs some attention, we also offer Django Consultancy and Project Rescue services.
Most of our projects start on the web, and this is where we are most proficient. We've delivered web applications to suit businesses across many sectors, and we love getting involved with new businesses.
We have extensive experiencing delivering mobile applications via the mobile web, along with native iPhone and Android applications. If you want to bring an existing offering to mobile, or you have a new idea, we can help.
Our network of designers allows us to provide logo, branding, UI and UX at a price to suit the project. This flexibility ensures that your project always leaves us looking as good as it possibly can.
We start by generating a specification for the project. We work with you to develop user stories to define the key behaviours of parts of the site/app, and we then expand these into a written document which describes exactly what we are going to build.
This is where we begin to build the main functionality of the site. We build any of the custom parts of the CMS along with any required business logic. When this is finished there is a working product that outputs basic pages, with very simple styling. At this stage, we have done no design work at all.
Once complete this is then shown to all stake holders in the project, to make sure that the site functionality meets expectations. At this point making changes and adding features is at a much lower cost than later on in the project. Any features/changes outside of the initial scope will be evaluated and we will provide a time/cost breakdown of the feature, followed by implementation if desired.
Content Delivery & Design
Once the prototype is complete the customer has a template for their copy and content, and the designer can take each URL of the site, look at the content and features, and design around the build. The customer can clearly see where we would need copy, images as well as any other items for the site.
When the design has been finished this is then passed to the customer for any amendments. When both parties are happy the designs are signed off.
Templating, Testing & Launch
We then go through the process of taking the designs, converting them to HTML, and then laying them over the CMS. The content for the website is gathered from the customer and added to the site. Once our final checks are completed, we launch the site!
